Jose Peraza wasn’t sure if the Reds were telling him the truth when they told him they would try and get him some time in center field in order to get him some at bats. The Reds came through last night as Peraza took center field against the LA Angels, filling in for Billy Andrews. There was not much action for him but he did manage to field a couple of line drives straight to him.
“It doesn’t feel different,” Peraza said through interpreter Tomas Vera. “I have to keep learning, of course. I’m going to continue learning. I feel happy to play. The most important thing overall is just to help the team.”
